Wiring the progressive transfer 2-10 switch wasn't intuitive to me...I
fab'd a simple circuit using a 12V battery and some LED's I had laying
around to determine where everything goes. As you can see, there's
a jumper that goes across the power terminals in the center of the
switch. Power out lugs(to each light system, for example) are on
the left. I used a silver Sharpie pen to mark all the switches to
speed things up and reduce errors when these switches are installed for
good. I'll use these "combination" switches to combine
position/strobe lights and another for landing/taxi lights. Same
type switch will also serve as a BAT/ALT master switch. If you're
unfamiliar with all of this read The AeroElectric Connection
by Bob Nuckolls. It's a must have book. |
