After laying out the holes, we drilled them to #40 on the drill press, then cleco'd the step to the skin. The holes were then enlarged to #30 in place. After deburring, the step is now ready to be riveted to the skin. We will wait for that, as we plan to have checkering cut into the stepping surface. The entire step will then be hard chromed. |
