Again, in 2003, on the Black Rock Desert in Nevada.  The playa has been described as 'Pool Table Flat'.  It is an excellent landing surface when it is dry!

We saw some wind cars on the playa.  One fellow had a dual-seater, and took us for rides.  They go up to 60 mph!
