This is before we decided that the brake lines would be leak-proof.
Notice the MATCO parking brake valve mounted on the firewall.
I later mounted an ".063 doubler plate below this. No
instructions were included for this valve, but I finally found them
on the MATCO website. At 90 bucks, this sucker isn't cheap,
but it's well made and if it saves me from sitting on a ramp in Rock
Springs, WY and waiting for someone to chock my plane, then... (if
I have to explain the previous comment, you haven't been to Rock
Springs...) |
