LANDING GEAR |
You surely have noticed we are building a 7A...trigear. After
considering a taildragger for some time, we decided we are very
comfortable in a tricycle gear airplane, as we learned to fly in the
Cessna 182. There are arguments against the trigear, most commonly
referring to taxiing on rough fields. In a trigear, you usually
can see to steer around holes. The loss of a few knots of speed is
(in our minds) the biggest tradeoff in choosing the trigear...and we are
at peace with our decision. (Click any picture for a larger view
