This is an ugly shot, but shows clearly the material that must be removed from the belly skin and the flange area of the wing mount carry through structure. I made a template that fit around the gear web to see how much material needed to be removed. I did the rough work with a nibbler, then went to a carbide cutter on the dremel, then used a sanding drum and files. |
